Prayer Letter for Germany -January 2015

Dear Intercessors,

In the cover message to the November prayer letter we called your attention to the “Call to Prayer – Remember-Repent-Pray” which will take place in 2015. Intercessors in Germany are being called to pray for Germany and Israel during the 100 day time window between the date of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland on January 27, 1945, and the end of World War II in Europe on May 8, 1945, 70 years ago. This is part of the Global Prayer Call (GPC 2015) for all intercessors in all nations to pray during these 100 days for the relationship of their own nation with Israel. Details are available from the website: www.100-days.eu . There will be international prayer conferences in Krakow/Auschwitz in January and in Jerusalem in May.

This is also a topic for prayer in this January 2015 prayer letter, and we would especially appreciate your prayers for Germany during these 100 days, starting on January 27, as the German people pray, repent and remember this period of sheer terror 70 years ago in this land. God has been gracious to Germany since then, but there are still many generational wounds to be healed in individuals and relationships in Germany and in many other nations. God promised to restore the fortunes of Israel after 70 years of captivity (Jeremiah 29:10-12), and we believe this is now a significant time for prayer and further restoration in Germany, and in the nations, 70 years after the end of the war.
