Prayer Letter - January 2013

Dear intercessors,

Many Christians from every denomination in Germany follow the "Losungen" (Moravian Watchwords or Daily Texts) for each day of the year, each month of the year and each Christian holiday. There is also one watchword or Bible text for the entire year. 

The Moravian Watchwords is an annual, globally distributed publication of the Moravian Church which was started in 1728 in Herrnhut, Saxony, by the Brethren Community, originally from Moravia (now in the Czech Republic), and is published in 50 languages, making it the oldest and most widely read daily devotional work in the world.

The Bible verse for the new year introduces our first prayer letter for 2013. 

Along with the entire Watchmen Team, let us look forward to the future with renewed love, hope and faith, trusting in God to hear our prayers and be at work in Germany and in our own nations throughout the year.
