Prayer Letter for Germany - October 2023

Dear intercessors, 

Give thanks to the Lord for he is good - His love endures for ever! (Psalm 136) 

As you will read in the prayer letter under "Harvest Thankgiving":

"This month we celebrate God's good provision in our lives. The God who is more than enough (El Shaddai) shares his entire life with us. That is why Jesus is also not just enough, for in him we have life and have it to the full (John 10:10b) and we can even participate in his divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). This means that we have access to absolutely all that we need." 

October 1st is Harvest Thanksgiving Day in Germany and October 3rd is German Unity Day. We have so many reasons to give thanks and celebrate as we remember all the good deeds of our wonderful Heavenly Father! 

Gratitude always creates a change in the atmosphere – in our country, but also in our own homes. We therefore want to become more and more thankful in the Call of the Watchman prayer network and open our eyes wide to clearly perceive God's care for us in the past, present and future!

Let us thank, celebrate! and pray!

This year, on German Unity Day., open air singing will once again take place in many cities in the market squares and outside the town halls. Choirs, music groups and even visitors take part by singing with candles. If you have time, please rejoice and sing along with the Germans at 7pm (German time) in your country.
